In the south lies elegant Biarritz while in the north there are the homely seaside towns of Croix de Vie. The islands along the coast are easily reached from our villas in Atlantic Coast. Take the ferry to Ile d’Yeu, or go by road to Ile de Ré, Ile de Noirmoutier or Ile d’Oléron.
There’s plenty to see and do here too. La Rochelle hosts a sailing week at Whitsun while Arcachon holds a festival of the sea each summer. La Palmyre has a wonderful zoo for children, an easy drive from your villa. Atlantic Coast also boasts the Dune de Pyla – the largest sand dune in Europe. Castillon-la-Bataille features a dramatic battle re-enactment each year and Puy du Fou has a spectacular historical pageant throughout the summer.
