Cala D’or is a modern, whitewashed, low rise resort built around several sandy coves. The surrounding countryside is pretty and very rural, with several quaint villages. Nearby, the pretty village of Porto Petro is idyllic whilst gorgeous, unspoiled Cala Mondrago is one of the most beautiful bays in the Mediterranean
